《國王的演講》故事主角就是上個世紀(jì)三四十年代的英國王子喬治六世，他的哥哥愛德華王儲“不愛江山愛美人，為了迎娶辛普森夫人不惜退位，而自小害羞、口吃的喬治六世只能繼承王位，于是他開始了與口吃的艱難抗?fàn)�，并求助于醫(yī)生萊納爾·羅格，兩人在治療的過程中建立了深厚的友誼。喬治六世最終通過廣播發(fā)表了一篇鼓舞人心的圣誕節(jié)演講，號召英國人反抗法西斯，激勵了二戰(zhàn)中英國人民的斗志。
